WHO WE ARE

Heights Church (formerly known as East Valley Foursquare) was birthed out of a call to reach the Yakima Valley for Jesus. After much prayer and a strong pull to East Valley, a group of about 150  took the leap of faith to plant.  Our first Sunday at 101 Butterfield Rd was in October of 2013. And the rest, as we say, is history!

We were initially planted as the first of 5 network churches a part of the Yakima Foursquare Network.  Over time, we have had the honor and privilege to come along  other churches as they joined the network and caught the vision to Love God, Love People and to Serve the World.

We feel passionate about reaching the Yakima Valley and beyond for Jesus. This means that while we want to have solid Sunday morning services, we deeply believe that life change happens best when we go into our city and do life with others. That's why we say we are
 IN OUR CITY, FOR OUR CITY.

Between planned service events and intentional partnerships
we love having the opportunity to serve our city.  

We believe that every Christ follower is a pastor to their own community. We want to empower you to lead well where your feet are! Often our biggest callings are in our homes, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, the ball fields, courts, and tracks we show up at, or the places we frequent. Wherever your feet go - you have the opportunity to breathe the life giving LOVE of Jesus.
